️ Dental Assistant Responsibilities
Assist dentists during chairside procedures and remain with patients throughout treatment
Escort patients to treatment rooms and provide compassionate, kid-friendly care
Review health histories, consent forms, and ensure documentation is complete
Take and process dental X-rays (preferred)
Educate patients and families on oral hygiene and at-home care routines
Maintain treatment area cleanliness and ensure strict infection control
Prepare treatment rooms, trays, and instruments for each procedure
Assist hygienists and front office team as needed
Perform routine dental equipment maintenance
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all clinical policies and standards
✅ Qualifications Required:
1+ year of dental or orthodontic assisting experience
OR
Registered Dental Assistant certification
High school diploma or equivalent
Willingness to relocate to
Plattsburgh, NY
if not local
Strongly Preferred:
Valid
Dental X-Ray License
Experience in
pediatric dentistry
Familiarity with
dental practice management or charting systems
Understanding of
treatment planning

Monday - Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Occasional weekends may be required depending on schedule needs
