Overview:
A top healthcare client is currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for their Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED).
Position Summary:
The FSED RN will deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act. This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and compliance with professional standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years recent (within the past year) acute care Emergency Room experience
Associate Degree in Nursing or diploma from an accredited institution required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
Active Florida RN license or compact license with Florida licensure within 90 days of hire; Advanced Practice RN license also acceptable
BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required within 30 days of hire
Core Responsibilities:
Collect and assess comprehensive patient health data
Analyze findings to determine diagnoses or issues
Develop and implement care plans based on identified outcomes
Monitor and evaluate progress toward expected goals
Continuously improve nursing practices and integrate new research
Exercise independent judgment while contributing to interdisciplinary care
Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and professional standards
Foster ethical collaboration with patients, families, and colleagues
Prioritize patient safety and report medical errors or unexpected outcomes
Float to other units as needed based on operational demands
