This position is a full-time position working in the Mitsubishi Product Division as a Mitsubishi Start-Up Technical Support Specialist with a primary role of providing technical, operation and application support to our contractors/customer base related to all Mitsubishi ductless or VRF systems and components. This position will report to the Director of Technical Services.
Job Responsibilities: Must become proficient in the thorough knowledge of Mitsubishi equipment, controls, application of these components and their operation Develop and foster relationships with Mitsubishi contractors/customers of Homans Associates for both commercial plan & spec. and design build projects, as well as residential projects Ensure a smooth turnover to the customer and end user after project startup and owner training. Ensure a successful project for all parties involved Must be able to effectively communicate the operation of Mitsubishi equipment and controls to contractors via telephone, email, text or other communication methods Assist and support the inside technical support specialists when needed Display proficiency with wiring schematics, refrigeration circuit diagrams, blueprint drawings and other related technical documentation in order to solve common as well as complex technical issues. Qualifications:
Minimum requirements are a High School Diploma, and 5+ years of HVAC technical experience with ductless and VRF knowledge preferred but not required Must have a good working knowledge of airflow, as well as experience in use and operation of HVAC "tools of the trade" Must have a complete working knowledge of controls and their operation in DDC and BMS systems Technical knowledge of HVAC service, troubleshooting and installation Ability to learn and utilize new software quickly and accurately (* Salesforce, * Bluebeam, *Mitsubishi DSB design software, *Mitsubishi Maintenance Tool, Microsoft Office, etc.) *Training will be provided High sense of urgency, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Highly energetic, motivated self-starter able to work with minimal direction from management Strong business, technical and problem-solving skills needed Must exude the utmost of integrity and high-performance standards
