We are working with a leading organization seeking an Excel Analyst. This role sits at the intersection of data analytics and legal operations, with a strong focus on Excel modeling, compliance tracking, and audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and analyze data related to contracts, regulatory filings, compliance metrics, and legal case tracking. Build and maintain Excel-based models, dashboards, and templates to support internal reviews, board reporting, and risk management. Support litigation prep, regulatory inquiries, and internal audits with accurate, structured data. Identify data inconsistencies or risks and escalate issues proactively. Partner with Legal, Risk, Audit, and Compliance teams on documentation and cross-functional initiatives. Ensure compliance reporting aligns with legal risk frameworks (e.g., data privacy, anti-bribery, SEC/FINRA). Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Business, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years in a law firm, corporate legal, or compliance setting with data-focused responsibilities. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, VBA/macros, Power Query, dashboards). Detail-oriented with a strong sense of discretion and confidentiality. Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks and case/data management best practices. Preferred:
Legal certifications (e.g., CCEP, CRCM, paralegal) a plus. Experience with legal tech or compliance platforms (e.g., Relativity, iManage, Power BI, Concur). Strong communication skills, especially in translating data insights to legal stakeholders.
Compensation: $90,000 - 105,000 Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
