Arlluk Technology Solutions (ATS) provides 24/7 monitoring, incident response, and IT operations support through our state-of-the-art Network Operations Center (NOC). We ensure the highest levels of system availability, performance, and security for our federal government customers' critical IT infrastructure. Our NOC follows ITIL best practices and a rigorous set of standard operating procedures.
The NOC Analyst will be responsible for proactively monitoring customer networks, servers, applications, and other IT components to identify and respond to operational issues. This hands-on role will triage alerts, diagnose root causes of incidents/outages, and coordinate resolution activities. The NOC Analyst documents all activities, ensures proper escalation protocols are followed, and communicates with customers throughout the incident lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Monitor health and performance across on-premises and cloud environments
Analyze monitoring data from tools like SolarWinds, Splunk, etc. to detect anomalies
Triage alerts based on severity and impact, isolating areas of disruption
Initiate incident response procedures and troubleshoot issues across multiple domains
Identify root causes through techniques like log analysis and packet captures
Escalate incidents to appropriate resolution teams and coordinate actions
Communicate with customers to provide status updates and meet SLA obligations
Create detailed documentation of each incident including cause, actions taken, lessons learned
Maintain accurate logs and audit trails of all NOC activities
Suggest preventative measures and improvements to enhance monitoring capabilities
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
2+ years of experience in a NOC, IT operations, or service desk role
Strong understanding of network protocols, services, and general IT principles
Practical experience with monitoring and incident management tools
Foundational knowledge of system/cloud administration, cybersecurity practices
Knowledge of ITIL processes and IT service management
Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance if required
Key Skills:
Strong analytical abilities to rapidly assess monitoring data and troubleshoot issues
Technical problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for customer interactions
Meticulous attention to detail in documenting incidents and following procedures
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic 24/7 operations environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office apps, ticketing systems, remote desktop tools
Desired Qualifications:
Prior experience supporting networks, servers, cloud infrastructure
Basic scripting abilities in languages like Python, Bash, PowerShell
Understanding of cybersecurity principles, controls, and incident response
Certification in ITIL, CompTIA Network+, Security+ or related disciplines
Requirements:
