$110-130/year 10% bonus potential \n Job Description: Support and modernize SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments for a hybrid cloud data infrastructure in a regulated financial organization. \n Day-to-Day Responsibilities: \n \n

Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases

\n

Optimize performance and support high availability and DR strategies

\n

Automate tasks using Python, T-SQL, PowerShell, or Bash

\n

Ensure database security, compliance, and documentation

\n

Collaborate on data modernization and Snowflake implementation initiatives

\n

Participate in rotating on-call support (every 2 months)

\n

\n Requirements: \n

\n

Must-Haves: \n

\n

5-7 years as a DBA with SQL Server and PostgreSQL

\n

Strong performance tuning, HA/DR (Always On, clustering), and backup/recovery experience

\n

Advanced PostgreSQL tuning and replication skills

\n

Experience with Snowflake and hybrid/cloud data platforms

\n

Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or T-SQL scripting

\n

Familiarity with monitoring tools and root cause analysis

Nice-to-Haves: \n

\n

Experience with Red Hat Linux for PostgreSQL \n

Financial services or other regulated industry background \n

Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field \n \n
