We are seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager with deep Workday expertise to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of key Workday-related initiatives across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing full lifecycle Workday implementations and enhancements, strong stakeholder communication skills, and the ability to bridge functional and technical teams. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage Workday projects across HCM, Finance, Payroll, or other modules, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation models. Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors. Identify project risks and issues, and drive resolution strategies proactively. Monitor and report on project status, milestones, and deliverables to senior leadership. Coordinate UAT, training, and post-deployment support in collaboration with functional leads. Ensure data integrity and security compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Required Skills and Qualifications:
5-7+ years of IT Project Management experience, with at least 3-5 years leading Workday projects. Hands-on experience managing Workday HCM, Financials, Payroll, or Integrations projects. Strong understanding of Workday architecture, configurations, and data workflows. Proven success leading end-to-end Workday implementations or major enhancement initiatives. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA). PMP, CSM, or Workday certification(s) strongly preferred. Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills. Preferred Experience:
Experience in cross-functional enterprise environments (e.g., HRIS, Finance, IT). Exposure to Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Ability to manage third-party vendors and consultants. Background in data migration, testing, or integration of Workday with other systems (e.g., SAP, ADP, ServiceNow).
