ASC Patient Services Rep

Nature of Duties:
The ASC Patient Services Rep handles medical office duties such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, processing payments, and handling correspondence.
Specific Duties: Answer phones, schedule appointments, check-in/check-out patients, and follow up with missed appointments. Assist clinic staff with scheduling changes and confirm daily schedules. Document patient services in the medical record. Collect co-pays and balances, verify insurance information, and maintain HIPAA compliance. Communicate with billing department regarding insurance claims and patient accounts. Stay current on insurance and managed care changes. Qualifications:
High School diploma required. Experience with medical insurance preferred. Organizational and time management skills. Basic computer proficiency. Experience with telephone collections is a plus. Compensation:
Pay starting at $17.87.
