We’re seeking a
Business IT Analyst
who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and mission-driven environment to enhance an existing PowerApp tool used by CBP. This position is ideal for someone who wants to work at the intersection of
technology, public service, and human-centered problem solving .
What You’ll Do
As a Business IT Analyst on this project, you will:
Enhance a mission-critical PowerApp tool to drive operational efficiency at CBP.
Design and build new functionality and automation using Power Automate and PowerApps.
Update existing workflows and documentation, including the Admin Guide and user support materials.
Collaborate regularly with a passionate, high-performing team that believes in knowledge sharing and peer learning.
Participate in
weekly client meetings
and internal working/planning sessions—your voice will matter in shaping outcomes.
Take clear, actionable meeting minutes for client-facing engagements and contribute to seamless client communications.
Support tool testing, demonstrations, and training activities, delivering solutions that are both intuitive and resilient.
Troubleshoot issues and iterate solutions based on client and end-user feedback.
What You Bring
Must-Haves:
Active
CBP BI clearance
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in
PowerApps ,
Power Automate , and
Microsoft Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to take initiative and thrive in both
independent work
and
collaborative team environments
Based in the
DMV area , with ability to support occasional in-person meetings if required
