Summary
We are seeking a new product introduction and product support specialist to join our growing company. This individual will work closely with Engineering, Production, and Customer Service to release new products and troubleshoot product issues to ensure continuous flow of manufactured product without defects.
Responsibilities
Provide daily technical support, troubleshooting, and problem solving to the manufacturing line and customer service.
Develop new and enhance/maintain existing build and test instructions to ensure products are built and tested correctly every time.
Write and improve software functions used to test product and control test equipment.
Develop and maintain additional new product release documentation such as Bills of Materials, model number structure and specifications documents.
Facilitate new product hand-off to Production including production line setup, test equipment configuration, and manufacturing assembly/test operator training.
Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing test equipment, repair cable harnesses, reset test software, and update settings as needed.
Develop fixturing to support test in manufacturing or at vendor facilities.
Develop, maintain, test, and execute engineering changes to improve manufacturing (DFM/A), control costs, ensure quality, and resolve customer issues.
Occasionally perform routine and qualification tests on products and software.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent in a technical field of study.
5+ years of technical support and/or new product introduction in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working and communicating with test equipment such as voltmeters, data acquisition systems, o-scopes, load banks and similar instruments to make manual and automated measurements.
Experience with software programming and basic ability to read and step through code to determine where issues exist.
Ability to understand and troubleshoot technical systems and their associated communication interfaces.
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical part drawings.
Proficient with all common business software, such as Outlook (calendar and email), Word, Excel with the ability to install, update and uninstall software applications.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills for articulating technical approaches and progress to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Flexible team player who actively establishes and maintains effective working relationships with company management and co-workers, suppliers, and occasionally with customers.
Ability to multi-task in a small company environment.
Qualifications
Experience with interactive use of ERP systems for accessing BOMs, item masters, where-used, and supplier information.
In-depth knowledge of critical power genset backup, charger/battery systems or battery monitoring.
Advanced expertise in software programming.

Base Compensation
:
The expected base compensation range is $89,000 – 139,000. This role is also eligible to receive bonuses and benefits.
Location
:
This role is located on-site in Longmont, CO and is performed in office, engineering lab, and manufacturing environments.
