AI Solutions Architect / Senior RPA Developer

Hybrid: Ft. Belvoir, VA (2-3 days per week)

Join an exciting project to help a federal client close their workload gap by improving workforce productivity and reducing unnecessary workload demand. Help harness AI/RPA innovative solutions to drive strategic workforce productivity improvements across the agency.

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled

AI Solutions Architect

with deep expertise in

Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)

and

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) . This role is ideal for someone passionate about leveraging AI, machine learning, and automation to streamline government operations and interpret complex data.

Key Responsibilities:

AI Solutions Architecture:

Architect end-to-end intelligent automation solutions that integrate

AI/ML ,

OCR , and

natural processing

to interpret unstructured, semi-structured, and structured data.

Design document processing pipelines capable of extracting, classifying, and validating data from

any file format

(PDFs, Word, spreadsheets, scanned forms, etc.).

Evaluate and integrate tools such as

Azure Cognitive Services ,

AWS Textract ,

Google Document AI , or

UiPath Document Understanding

into tailored solutions.

Translate high-level business objectives into scalable, automated technical architectures.

Automation Development (RPA):

Develop and implement robust, secure automation using tools such as

UiPath ,

Power Automate , or

Automation Anywhere .

Integrate AI-driven insights into automated business processes across enterprise systems.

Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless automation across platforms.

Technical Leadership & Innovation:

Serve as a thought leader and technical SME in intelligent automation strategy.

Drive critical project actions forward on behalf of the client.

Mentor junior RPA developers and automation analysts.

Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and drive innovation across mission-critical systems.

Requirements:

6+ years

of experience in AI, automation, or intelligent systems architecture.

Proven experience designing and delivering

AI-powered solutions , especially for

document processing and workflow automation .

Proficiency with one or more RPA platforms ( UiPath ,

Power Automate ,

Blue Prism , etc.).

Strong understanding of AI concepts such as

NLP ,

OCR ,

classification , and

entity extraction .

Experience with cloud- AI services and APIs (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).

Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.

Strong attention to detail

Requirements:

Certifications in UiPath or Microsoft Power Platform.

Experience in federal or defense environments.

Background in

data analytics

and visualization tools such as

Power BI

or

Tableau .

Work Schedule:

Hybrid – 2–3 days remote, 2–3 days on-site at Fort Belvoir, VA
