Java proficiency: Strong understanding of Java programming, including object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, data structures, algorithms, and the Java Standard Edition (SE) API.HPC knowledge: Experience with high-performance computing environments, parallel programming concepts (e.g., MPI, CUDA), cluster management software (e.g., Slurm), and performance tuning tools.Linux/UNIX systems: Experience with Linux/UNIX operating systems, scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python), and basic system administration tasks.Problem-solving and debugging: Ability to analyze complex problems, identify bottlenecks, and debug software and systems efficiently.Communication and collaboration: Strong communication skills to interact effectively with researchers and colleagues, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Continuous learning: Willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in Java, HPC, and related technologies.
