This position is for an Electronics Technician to support prototyping, evaluating, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic/software/mechanical based products and tools, implementation of test methods and equipment, product development, documentation of work in Development and Sustaining Engineering. Ability to support the team in fabrication, testing, rework, validation, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities

Performs root cause analysis of failures identified in sustaining or product development and testing environments.
·
Evaluate, rework and repair field failures and prototypes using, discrete components, ICs, electrical/mechanical hardware, fluids, and test equipment.
·
Operate in-house test equipment in areas such as Electronic, Environmental, Fuels and Silo Labs.
Ensure facilities and equipment are operational and compliant through site validation and equipment verification.
·
Prioritize and coordinate work plans with department or project engineers and managers. Effectively support multiple projects by understanding lab priorities to support business results.

Works in a strong team environment with willingness to learn, share and mentor associates.
·
Participate in and utilize Vontier Business System (VBS) initiatives to provide overall department growth and sustainment.
·
Drive lab EH&S, 5S housekeeping initiatives, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
