Technical Expertise : The candidate should have strong experience with infrastructure systems, including Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory, Linux Server, and SQL Server. They should also be proficient in Microsoft 365 administration. Security Knowledge : The candidate must have a strong understanding of information security principles and practices. This includes knowledge of antivirus software, patch management, server virtualization, and enterprise-class storage arrays Communication Skills : The ability to refine and communicate information security requirements effectively is crucial. The candidate should be able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Problem-Solving Abilities : The candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, communicate, and resolve issues related to IT systems investments Experience with Monitoring and Optimization : The candidate should be experienced in developing and implementing methods for monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all infrastructure systems Collaboration and Teamwork : The candidate should be able to work collaboratively with various departments, including IT, security, and operations teams, to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the infrastructure systems
Job Description
Responsible for defining the requirements to ensure stability, integrity, and efficient operation of "on prem and cloud" infrastructure systems that support core organizational functions. Infrastructure systems as defined by the hiring manager include but are not limited to; Windows Server, VMWare, Active Directory, Linux Server, Network, Database, Storage, Cloud, Email and Mobile technologies This is achieved by developing and seeing to the implementation of the methods to be utilized for monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all Infrastructure systems. Responsible for applying proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.
Requirements
Expert level experience with software systems, applications, and related products in a Microsoft and/or Linux environment. Requires expert level experience with infrastructure cloud components and services. Expert level experience with core data center systems including MS Exchange Server, MS SQL Server, Active Directory and VMware. Expert knowledge of antivirus software (e.g. Trend Micro, McAfee). Expert knowledge with patch management software (e.g. Ivanti). Expert knowledge and experience with server virtualization. Expert level knowledge and experience with PowerShell scripting. Expert Enterprise SAN logical architecture and concepts knowledge. Expert level enterprise class storage array resource pools/Volumes/LUN allocation, thin provisioning, migration and replication experience. Expert skilled at installing/configuring, switches, routers, bridges, etc. Expert Hardware, software, and network connection troubleshooting experience. Extensive knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Windows Extensive knowledge of networks including LANs, WANs and SANs. Extensive knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws, including but not limited to (PII, PCI). Extensive hands-on technical knowledge of network systems, protocols, and standards. Extensive Knowledge of Cisco, Check Point, and/or Palo Alto firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other network security measures. Excellent understanding of current and legacy versions of Windows server, VMware vSphere and RHEL. Excellent project management skills. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing software systems, applications, and related products in an enterprise class environment. Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and general systems management best practices. Proven enterprise experience with core storage/SAN/Backup systems, including IBM XIV, Cisco SAN switches, NetApp, Data Domain, NetBackup, Nimble and Rubrik. such as Ethernet, MPLS, LAN, WAN, SDWAN, TCP/IP, ATM, T1, 802.11x, etc.

General knowledge of network management and analysis tools, including Cisco Prime, NetBrain, Meraki. Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required.
