The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading high-performing, cross-functional data teams to cultivate a data-driven culture and support data-informed decision-making. This role involves close collaboration with business leaders to identify innovation opportunities, enhance operational efficiency, and communicate complex insights effectively. The VP will also oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines, warehouses, and governance frameworks, with a focus on ensuring data quality and empowering self-service analytics. Additionally, the role includes owning pricing strategies and driving business outcomes through dynamic pricing models, price elasticity analyses, and experimentation initiatives. Candidates for the VP of Data & Analytics position at the company should have a Master's degree in a technical field and at least 10 years of leadership experience in data and analytics. Deep expertise in large, complex datasets, predictive analytics, machine learning, and advanced analytical tools is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing data teams and cloud-based data platforms, as well as the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable business insights. Experience in financial services or fintech is preferred, with a solid understanding of structured and unstructured data analytics. The role requires an individual who can effectively communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, including C-suite, and who is adept at fostering a culture of innovation and maintaining a competitive edge in the marketplace.
