Leidos QTC Health Services is looking for a passionate Over-the-Road Class A Driver to be a vital member of our Mobile Clinic Operations team. This position offers more than a typical driving role; you will operate a fully functioning mobile clinic, collaborate with a small medical team, and directly support veterans in need! Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a company vehicle to transport medical equipment and staff to events across various locations. Maintain timely communication with operational teams regarding logistical updates. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct required vehicle inspections according to regulatory standards. Maintain electronic travel logs and essential paperwork. Oversee vehicle maintenance, including routine checks and cleanliness. Act as the primary point of contact for the assigned vehicle. Coordinate with relevant agencies for contingency plans (accidents, severe weather, etc.). Adhere to prescribed routes for all logistical movements. Manage levels of medical supplies and assist in moving equipment weighing up to 70 pounds. Fulfill additional duties as assigned. Be flexible with working hours, including weekends, holidays, and consecutive overnight stays. Drive for extended periods while following Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines. Have thorough knowledge of DOT commercial vehicle regulations. Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills. Complete expense reports promptly according to company policy. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. 3 to 5 years of commercial driving experience. Able to pass a DOT medical examination. Must be 21 years of age or older. Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving record for the past 3 to 5 years. Valid U.S. Driver's License and the willingness to travel between locations. Live within 50 miles of a major airport. Pass background checks and random drug testing as required by DOT regulations. Additional Information: Comprehensive onboarding and training will be provided over 2 weeks, including job shadowing. Typical work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. Consistent travel from Sunday to Friday weekly with a 2-week notice for personal time off. All travel expenses covered by the company.
