Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

Office 365 Security Engineer

to support the design, implementation, and ongoing management of security controls for Office 365 and hybrid cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft security tools and practices, as well as hands-on experience managing access, identity, and data protection across enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities: Design and implement advanced

digital security controls

across Office 365 and hybrid environments. Provide subject matter expertise in

Office 365 security , including Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Cloud App Security, Azure Information Protection (AIP), and Microsoft Defender tools. Configure and manage

Intune , Conditional Access policies, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS) suite. Implement and manage

data protection features

such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Rights Management (IRM), and Advanced Threat Protection (ATP). Perform

configuration of Azure AD , authentication systems, and tenant-level security policies. Support and troubleshoot security incidents and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities. Recommend improvements in security architecture and assist in maintaining compliance with relevant data protection regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in

Office 365 and Azure security engineering . Hands-on experience with

Microsoft security technologies

including: Azure AD Microsoft Cloud App Security Azure Information Protection Intune (Conditional Access/MDM) Microsoft Defender suite Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Strong understanding of

identity and access management

principles in cloud and hybrid environments. Ability to

analyze and troubleshoot

security-related issues effectively. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft certifications (e.g.,

MS-500 ,

SC-300 , or

AZ-500 ) Experience in

hybrid cloud security models Familiarity with industry compliance standards (e.g.,

NIST ,

HIPAA ,

GDPR )
