Job Description Our client, a leading healthcare technology company that's transforming how medical practices operate across the U.S. through AI-driven solutions is looking for a Principal Engineer focused on AI and Data Engineering. The team is building advanced platforms that include electronic health records, revenue cycle management, and patient engagement tools, with a strong emphasis on integrating GenAI, LLMs, and scalable cloud-based infrastructure.
This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role within an organization that is applying cutting-edge AI to improve real-world healthcare outcomes. You'll work on retrieval-augmented generation, fine-tuning LLMs, and deploying AI-powered microservices in production. They're looking for someone who's passionate about building scalable AI systems, collaborating across teams, and leading large-scale data engineering projects
.Contract Duration: 3 month contract to hire
Hybrid 1 day a week onsite Required Skills & Experience
12+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML development (senior level engineer/architect)
Hands-on Agile development, SDLC, CI/CD pipelines and AI model deployments experience
Full stack AI developer experience (Python, OpenAI, APIs, LLMS, cloud (AWS-Lambda)
GPT deployment
Database (Postgres, Vector databases)
RAGs
SQL (PostgreSQL), MySQL Sever)
NoSQL (Redis, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch)
AWS
