About the Job

The Non-Destructive Technician II Inspector is a certified level II, and is responsible to conduct routine nondestructive examinations for FPI and MPI processes while using various types of nondestructive testing practices and techniques and maintaining all records of testing performed.

Job Duties Ensure the highest customer satisfaction through effective communication and job execution Ensure compliance to schedule Responsible for accomplishing assigned inspection work on aerospace parts Conducts inspections utilizing a variety of NDT methods which may include liquid penetrant Properly utilize NDT test equipment and associated tools to successfully interrogate hardware and structures, make decisions as to their acceptability for continued use, and keep abreast of new and advanced test equipment. Shall be required to document inspection results in both paper and electronic forms as well as complete and sign work records in connection with work performed. Inspects parts, sub-assemblies, and completed assemblies to the extent necessary to determine, accomplish, and approve acceptability in accordance with written procedures. Assist with the development of procedures and techniques for non-destructive testing of metallic and composite structures. Support training of other NDT personnel using hands-on knowledge from the vehicles via different mediums as appropriate. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical details of company service offerings and tools Interpret or evaluate test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, or procedures. Interpret the results of all methods of non-destructive testing (NDT). Prepare reports on non-destructive testing (NDT) results. Educational and Work Experience Requirements

Understanding of blueprint reading, understanding of ISO regulations, and product testing methods. Ability to work within a team environment and build relationships outside of the department. Ability to effectively communicate technical information both orally and in written form. High deadline and result orientation, demonstrate characteristics of high potential for future development. Microsoft Office Suite (Preferred: Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Pass Internal Certification to NDTP 1000 Sec 1.1 High school diploma NDT level II certification is preferred.
