Full-time Days: 6:45 AM -3:15 PM -works every other weekend (5-day work week) Evenings: 2:45 PM -11:15 PM-works every other weekend (5-day work week) Responsibilities
As a Laboratory Technician, you will help prepare all blood components for delivery to our hospital and patient. You will perform a variety of tasks and processes based on laboratory needs. Every day you'll be having fun making a measurable difference in your community.
Requirements
Assure product quality, volume, assay requirements, appearance, and time requirements. Maintain accurate records and computer entries for component production. Perform receipt of freshly drawn units and samples, and unpack, evaluate, and route samples for accessioning. Perform labeling of routine and special components and quarantine of unacceptable components. Maintain equipment and work areas, as assigned.
