We are seeking a 1st Class Structural Fitter to become an integral part of our team! Fitter shall be able to read and interpret shop fabrication drawings. Ability to use saws, track torches and neatly cut with a hand held torch when required. Ability to layout steel members for cutting and drilling with a high degree of accuracy.
Responsibilities:
Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
Install and repair various equipment and components
Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
Accurately layout steel members and assemble the individual components to the main member,
Qualifications:
Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, steel fabrication or other related fields
Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
Familiarity with shop fabrication blueprints and schematics
Ability to handle physical workload
