Responsibilities: Operating and maintaining transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and on time delivery Determine most efficient route through reading roadmaps Adhere to traffic and safety laws Provide transportation service for AsteelFlash, vendors, and customers Pick up and deliver per AsteelFlash dispatch using company vehicles Move material with use of carts, pallet jack, and forklift Load and unload goods delivered Interacting with customers, Asteelflash employees and vendors to obtain signatures and supply receipts or records Heavy lifting of packages and other equipment Supports Transportation which includes but not limited to picking / delivering orders, parts, equipment, Packing, strapping and loading / unloading of pallets to trucks / containers. Communicates completed runs to Shipping Department and ensure paperwork / documentations are acknowledged / signed as evidence of receipt / delivery. Other tasks may be assigned by the Supervisor / Manager. Requirements:
Education/Qualification:
High School or level of knowledge that would be normally obtained of a High School degree. Have prior experience working in Warehouse/Logistics/Shipping Experience:
0-2 years experience Skills/Competencies:
Clean DMV Ability to read maps, driving directions, and signs ERP Software: SAP preferred Sense of responsibility Attention to detail Resourceful Frequently moves or transports objects, potentially weighing up to 50 pounds Compensation/Benefits:
