We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator Lead to manage a team of systems administrators supporting a Family of Systems (FoS) system. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with PaaS, IaaS, DevSecOps, VMware, Microsoft Web (.Net), and Database Servers, as well as Azure environments. The successful candidate will provide technical support functions, manage system configuration, and ensure cybersecurity compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the configuration of production servers and laptops to include installation / imaging, system and security patches, database administration, as well as installation and support for the enterprise applications in unclassified and classified environments Provide technical support functions, including troubleshooting and developing technical solutions to software and setup errors Collaborate with software developers and test teams to help identify and resolve system issues early in the development lifecycle Act as a cybersecurity policy liaison to capture emerging requirements to ensure full cybersecurity compliance Responsible for the periodic vulnerability scanning, documentation, and remediation of all findings in all systems Support required RMF documentation artifacts as required Deliver recurring, classroom-style, and / or in-person training as well as informal, ad hoc training to system administrators regarding configuration, maintenance, and operation of the enterprise applications Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system architecture, system configuration, processes, procedures, as well as systems engineering RMF artifact documents Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000

8+ years of experience working with Microsoft .NET framework and C# / ASP .NET web-based enterprise applications 8+ years of experience performing SQL Server administration and maintenance (basic T-SQL querying skills) 8+ years of experience performing .NET applications, Microsoft IIS Web Server, and Microsoft SQL Server installation and troubleshooting 8+ years of experience writing scripts using PowerShell / PowerCLI, JavaScript, VB scripting 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Azure ADO development environment, Agile, DevSecOps, PaaS, and IaaS tools, processes, procedures, and environments 8+ years of experience creating and managing virtual servers using VMware ESX, ESXi, Hyper-V 8+ years of experience using Windows Server / Linux containerized environments 5+ years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in computer system / network engineering, including two years of specialized experience related to the task 8+ years of experience leading multiple systems administration teams concurrently 8+ years of experience translating naval aviation user and product owner inputs into definable systems administration requirements
