Position Summary
The Research IT Specialist serves as the primary liaison between the research community, LSUHSC IT, and the institution's electronic research administration (eRA) platform. This position supports the functionality, optimization, data reporting, and user support for all eRA modules, including but not limited to Institutional Review Board (IRB), Grants Management, Conflict of Interest (COI), Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), and Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC). Assure appropriate interface of ORS and LSUHSC software platform (i.e. Peoplesoft, CATS, Kuali, etc). Additionally, the position is responsible for developing and maintaining system-related standard operating procedures (SOPs) and managing the Office of Research Services website.
