Website Experience Product Manager
Urbandale, Iowa (hybrid)
Summary:
The Website Experience Product Manager is responsible for identifying the strategic direction and overseeing the development & management of Pella's Corporate and local websites. In this role, you will collaborate with various departments (internal and external) to ensure the websites meet business objectives and provide an excellent user experience. The Website Experience Product Manager will gather and analyze user feedback, develop a product roadmap, and work closely with the development team to implement new features and improvements. A key focus of this role is to drive a customer-centric outlook, ensuring that the websites meet the needs and expectations of users.
This role will report directly to the Sr Product Manager; will lead a team of 5-7, with 2-3 direct reports, focused on the creation and deployment of these elements. The ideal candidate will be customer focused, have a strong technical acumen, be well versed in agile development experience, and be able to apply creative flair.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and communicate product vision and roadmap for corporate and local websites. Gather feedback from customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to inform product decisions. Analyze user feedback, research, and data to understand market needs and opportunities. Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value and user impact. Collaborate with development team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of new features. Conduct A/B testing and use web analytics tools to measure success of product changes. Ensure websites comply with accessibility standards and best practices for web UX design. Manage budget and resources allocated to the website products. Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, user behaviors, and areas for improvement. Utilize data visualization tools to present insights and recommendations to stakeholders. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to track the websites' performance and impact on business goals. Implement data-driven strategies to optimize user experience and drive engagement. Champion a customer-centric approach in all website-related decisions and initiatives. Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably with a focus on web products. Strong understanding of web UX design principles and web analytics tools. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web development processes is a plus. Desired Skills:
Knowledge of Google Analytics, A/B testing tools, and qualitative feedback tools. Experience with JIRA or similar project management tools. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Creative and strategic thinking with a focus on user experience.
