The Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Entry-Level Data Analyst
to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career in data operations, systems support, and business analysis. In this role, you'll work closely with our AMS Administrator and Online Services Manager to support key data and business process functions across the organization. Whether you're a recent high school/college graduate or have up to 2 years of experience, this position offers hands-on learning in areas such as data integrity, reporting, and system development-all within a collaborative and mission-driven environment.

Ensure data integrity by performing quality checks, correcting errors, and documenting processes for consistency and training. Support project management of AMS configurations, customizations, and integrations by drafting necessary documentation, coordinating with vendors, testing modifications, and training staff as needed. Provide internal training and support on data tools, queries, and quality best practices for data housed within the association management system. Create and/or manage the development of complex dashboards, reports, and data visualizations (e.g., Power BI, Excel) to support departments and leadership. Manage the CAS engagement scoring model and other KPI dashboard data inputs. Create workflows, email trigger messages, manage bulk uploads and other similar processes. Field portal user and staff support tickets related to usage of the AMS. Coordinate and support staff use of Microsoft integrated email and survey products.
Required Experience and Qualifications
Demonstrated, hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (up to 2 years preferred). Strong command of Microsoft Office and specifically Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and working with large datasets. Up to 2 years of professional experience in IT/data analysis, preferably in a nonprofit or membership-based organization preferred High school diploma or equivalent required. Familiarity with Microsoft Customer Voice, Power Automate, and Journeys, preferred. Exceptional organizational and logical skills and ability to plan, track and perform multiple tasks; must be able to manage multiple priorities and maintain high attention to detail and accuracy while consistently meeting deadlines. Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to provide outstanding customer service and convey ideas and information in a clear and professional manner to both internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Occasional travel may be required.
