Opportunity
The System Administrator will provide a first-line level of support to resolve issues related to software support, maintenance, patching, scans, and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance.
Review artifacts such as container scans, updated version and port information, and any Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance changes
Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance and support Utilize knowledge of Linux OS and command line to review and provide information to customer leads and vendors Utilize knowledge of virtualization and VMWare's administration interface to support the current system Perform regular log, storage, and other operations and compliance activities directed by the customer Perform routine IT tasks of varying complexity may be assigned at team discretion. Assist with system outages (i.e., complete system failure and significant and/or moderate degradations that inhibit business processes Respond to security and/or cybersecurity incident activities as directed Salary range- 90-120k Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience
OR , Associate's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field and 6+ years of experience OR,
High School Degree and 10+ years of experience
Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience VMWare experience Active Top Secret or Q security clearance
