Role Overview

This role blends traditional IT management with internal customer success. You will lead a small support team, oversee IT infrastructure and security, and play a hands-on role in driving adoption of AI-enabled platforms and analytics tools across the organization. You will be the primary enabler of smarter workflows, data access, and cross-team digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

IT Operations & Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of two IT support engineers, ensuring reliable day-to-day tech support.

• Manage employee lifecycle support including provisioning, access, and device management.

• Oversee IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking, and SaaS administration.

• Maintain IT documentation, asset tracking, and performance monitoring.

Cybersecurity & RIA Compliance

• Own and manage the firm's cybersecurity tools, protocols, and user training.

• Ensure systems and practices meet SEC cybersecurity and RIA compliance requirements.

• Partner with legal compliance on regulatory audits, access logs, and risk controls.

• Manage endpoint protection, MFA, data backups, and incident response plans.

AI &

Platform

Adoption (Internal Customer

Success)

• Act as the internal champion and anchor point for AI-driven platforms being rolled out across teams (e.g., underwriting automation, smart analytics, predictive models).

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their workflows and tailor support to maximize AI tool adoption and ROI.

• Onboard users with customized walkthroughs, create internal FAQs or guides, and provide 1:1 or group training.

• Track feedback and adoption trends and serve as a liaison to the AI product and data teams.

Data Enablement

& User Empowerment

• Guide users in accessing dashboards, analytics tools, and business intelligence platforms.

• Help translate data availability into actionable insights by showing what is possible and where to look.

• Encourage data literacy and evangelize efficient use of digital tools across departments.

Vendor Management & Strategic IT

Planning

• Manage relationships with key technology vendors and SaaS providers.

• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that enhance security, scalability, or team productivity.

• Stay informed on emerging technologies, with an eye toward practical use cases within the firm.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT management or senior IT leadership experience; prior experience in real estate, finance, or investment environments is a plus.

• Hands-on experience supporting the rollout of new platforms or tools with measurable adoption success.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace), security protocols, and compliance frameworks.

• Strong communicator and trusted advisor who can coach and empower users of varying technical skill levels.

• Understanding of RIA compliance expectations and cybersecurity standards (NIST, CIS, etc.).

• Enthusiastic about AI and emerging tech, with a practical approach to driving adoption.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting internal rollout of AI or analytics platforms.

• Familiarity with RIA systems and SEC exam preparedness.

• Technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA, CISSP, CISM) a plus.
