Overview
Triaplex, Inc. (A wholly owned subsidiary of VTG) is looking for a Systems Administrator with a strong background in Linux and DevOps administration to join our team. This position will support mission-focused customers with a variety of deployments around the world. What will you do?
Key Responsibilities * Manage clusters and individual workstations in an enterprise environment. * Utilize and understand package management systems in various platforms: such as yum, rpm, homebrew. * Perform maintenance tasks and resolve / track outstanding system vulnerabilities. * Engage with users, analysts, and developers, on requirements, needs, and toolsets. * Troubleshoot networking, storage, virtualization, and latency issues. * Provide detailed analysis and feedback to management and key stakeholders based on system capacity and user experience. * Create scripts to automate tasks and perform routine and distributed tasks. * Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. * Generate automation scripts as appropriate to improve workflow and efficiency. * Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems * Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems * Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems Do you have what it takes?
Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or related discipline. May substitute four years' experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. Active and current TS/SCI with Polygraph in the last 7 years Required Qualifications Ten (10) years' experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant cert (i.e., Security+) 10 years' experience Linux System administration: configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, vSphere and Ansible is
