Teachers offers a variety of exciting career opportunities ranging from part-time and full-time staffers to executive leadership roles.Summary:The Fraud Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for performing ongoing quality assurance reviews on processes, procedures and workflows to determine process gaps, timeliness of reviews, tracking for annual procedure reviews, and remediation recommendations to improve the fraud function. Education and/or Experience:Associate's degree or a minimum of four years directly related experience requiredMinimum four years financial fraud experience requiredQuality assurance experience within a financial crime function in BSA or Fraud within a banking or credit union industry requiredIntermediate knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, applicable laws and regulations requiredIntermediate knowledge of quality assurance best practices within the fraud industry specific to credit unions or banking requiredCFE or CFCI preferredVerafin case management system preferredAbility to maintain confidentiality, independence and sound judgementJob Responsibilities:Performs ongoing sample testing in accordance with quality assurance methodology practices on detections, investigations, and other fraud department processesReviews alerts/cases in Verafin Partners and performs sample testing on fraud related processes outside of the fraud departmentTests and validates Salesforce ticket referrals, branch escalations, email escalations, other referral channelsEnsuring departments follow proper fraud escalation proceduresWrites in-depth reports on findings and work with the fraud leadership team on recommended practices and process improvements to improve the fraud functionDocuments findings, partners with Enterprise Risk Management ('ERM') Team for exceptions tracking, and tracks metrics on a monthly basis for reporting for the fraud leadership teamExercises sound judgment to independently identify process gaps and recommendations for process improvement for the fraud departmentWorks cross functionally with other departments that have fraud related processes by testing cases referred to the fraud department to ensure all the required information and supporting documentation is complete, along with following fraud escalation protocols in accordance to standard operating procedures*Performs other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisorBenefits of Joining the Teachers Team:We provide a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes, but is not limited to:Paid time off for vacation, personal days, and holidaysFully-funded pension plan401(k) company contributionTeachers pays 100% of Dental & Vision premiumTuition reimbursement is offered to full-time employeesExclusive employee discount of 0.96% APR on credit card loans and a 1.00% APR on all other loans through TeachersThe good faith range for this position is $27.00-$31.00 an hour. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs.
