This positionrequires a strong unique person who is able to adapt at a moment's notice toany situation including those of high stress. The LPN that holds thisposition must have the ability to be positive in all things with the ability tomanage our behavioral unit successfully. In this role you willreport directly to our Facilities Administrator, DON. Must have exceptionalcommunication skills and be able to operate consistently in a timely manner toadhere to deadlines that must be kept. Must have exceptional documentationskills.Job Duties to includebut are not limited to: Monthly reviews with Dietary, Medical Records and other facility departments Chart audits FALL Audits Pharmacy Consults Shower Sheets Dietetic Consult Report Lab Audits Elopement and Safety risk checks Monthly Summaries Skin Assessments Medication Med Pass Supervision-Supervise CMTs Turn List Diet Changes Physicians Orders/Telephones Weekly Check Off on Crash Carts Nurses Stations Compliance Infection Control w/DON Monthly/Quarterly Assessments RCC rounds Monthly Medication room & Med Cart Checks Resident personal Items CNA Care plansIt is your duty tosupervise the floor Nurses, CMT's, CNA's, and Hall Monitors to ensure thesafety and security of the residents and the integrity of your units. You willassist in training these employees to the point they are capable andconfidently completing all necessary paperwork for the units.
