Operating Room Assistant

Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for an Operating Room Assistant to join our Operating Room team on a Full-Time basis.In the OR, timeliness, cleanliness, and orderliness are essential. Here, you will realize your potential while helping to fulfill the Stoughton Health mission of providing exceptional care.Essential Functions:Cleans and maintains various assigned areasSurface disinfection or specialty OR equipmentMaintains supplies and keeps closets and equipment in clean working orderAssists with patient transport, transfer, and positioningTransports equipment, blood, specimens, lab draws, and other items to other hospital departmentsPosition Requirements:Required: High School Graduate or EquivalentPreferred: Successful completion of the Certified Nursing Assistant programPreferred Professional Experience: One-year of previous medical experience in an acute care settingRequired Certification: Current BLS certification within 90 days of hirePreferred Certification: ENPC and TNCC CertificationSpecial Requirements: EKG training, PhlebotomyComputer Competency: Basic Computer Skills are expected for this position.
