What you'll do at OhioMHAS
:
This position is primarily going to be providing care in the treatment mall however it may be temporarily transitioned to a unit-based position.
Assists in implementing, planning and delivering group/individual occupational therapy based on standards of care Provide assessment and treatment to patients with psychosocial dysfunctions, problems with aging, physical disabilities, substance abuse & other conditions interfering with daily living Collaborate with the treatment team and patients to follow agreed upon treatment plan Participate in developing methodologies, policies and procedures for implementation of occupational therapy program in conjunction with OT Director Conduct interviews with patients, gather information and history of patients through information obtained in the interview and chart reviews
This is an hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union) , with a pay range of

Normal working hours are 1st shift 8:30am-5pm with a Sunday rotation every 5-6 weeks. This position is located within our
1101 Summit Road, Cincinnati, OH 45237
Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at
Step 1
of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.

Qualifications
Current State of Ohio Occupational Therapy Assistant License pursuant to Section 4755.02 of Revised Code.
-Or limited permit pursuant to Section 4755.07, to persons who have satisfied requirements of Divisions (A) to (C) of Section 4755.06.
