Project Manager – Industrial Turnaround Operations
Location: Brownsville, TX (within 1hr commute) | Type: Full-Time | Industry: Industrial Services / Petrochemical
Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for operational excellence in high-stakes environments? We're conducting a retained search for a dynamic Project Manager to lead complex, on-site turnaround projects for a leading industrial services provider. This is a high-impact role with visibility and strong career growth potential.
What You'll Do
As Project Manager, you'll be the operational backbone of large-scale, in-plant turnaround projects. You'll:
Lead planning, execution, and close-out of turnaround operations at customer sites.
Supervise project supervisors and field technicians across multiple shifts.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and operational procedures.
Interface with client stakeholders to resolve issues and exceed expectations.
Oversee logistics for critical safety equipment, including breathing air systems, gas detection, and PPE.
Manage project documentation, billing, and reporting to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Support training programs such as respirator fit testing, SCBA, and PFTs.
What You Bring
3+ years of operations experience in industrial safety or petrochemical environments.
2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
Proven Fire Services Project Experience
Proven leadership in high-pressure, field-based project settings.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Willingness to travel and work at remote customer sites. Qualifications
Some college coursework or technical training.
Train-the-Trainer certification and financial management training a plus.
