Position Summary:
Our end client is seeking an experienced
IT Application Project Manager
to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in IT Application Project management, including the ability to manage multiple medium-sized projects concurrently, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality results within established timelines and budgets. Experience working on healthcare-related IT projects is a plus. This position is perfect for someone with 3-5 years of project management experience who is looking to grow their career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing a mix of remote and in-office work.
Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Management:
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior leadership. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones. Team Coordination:
Lead cross-functional teams of developers, analysts, and other IT professionals. Ensure team members are clear on tasks, deadlines, and project goals. Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure that all projects are completed with minimal disruption. Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams. Provide regular project updates to internal and external stakeholders. Resource Allocation:
Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure successful project completion within budget and timeline. Documentation:
Maintain thorough project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and meeting minutes. Quality Assurance:
Ensure that project deliverables meet high-quality standards and adhere to company policies and industry best practices. Budget Management:
Monitor project budgets and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints. Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. Experience:
3-5 years of project management experience in IT. Experience with healthcare-related IT projects is a plus. Project Management Certification:
PMP, CAPM, or relevant certification preferred. Technical Skills:
Familiarity with project management tools like Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Trello. Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Soft Skills:
