The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) is seeking an experienced
Quality Assurance Tester
with expertise in the
Accela Automation
platform. The selected QA professional will join the Permitting System Extra Capacity Team and be responsible for end-to-end testing of system enhancements and integrations.
Key Responsibilities: Design, document, and execute
manual and automated
test cases for Accela platform components Perform
root cause analysis , track software defects, and validate bug fixes Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve functionality and usability Contribute to technical specifications to ensure clarity and testability Enhance QA processes, documentation, and test case libraries Participate in testing both
preproduction
and
production
environments Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of QA experience specific to
Accela Automation
and related workflows 3+ years of experience supporting
Accela QA efforts
for a city, state, or transportation agency Familiarity with Accela scripting, configuration, workflows, and integrations Strong analytical and documentation skills in defect tracking and resolution
