Your Day at Lowe's As a Customer Service Associate, you will greet customers as they enter the store, assisting them in locating and selecting the right products and services for their home improvement projects. Your daily tasks will include addressing customer inquiries, helping with merchandise handling, and ensuring customer satisfaction across various departments, such as Appliances, Hardware, Paint, and more. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional assistance. Help customers locate and handle merchandise efficiently. Manage stock levels by replenishing supplies on the shelves. Process orders and deliveries accurately for timely customer receipt of products. Cross-train in different departments to enhance customer service. Prepare merchandise in your department according to customer requests. Guide customers throughout their shopping and checkout experiences. Complete additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications 6 months of computer experience, including data entry and information retrieval. 6 months of experience using retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets. Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic. Capability to stand, sit, and perform other necessary activities for the job. Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with accommodations. Preferred Qualifications 6 months of retail or customer service experience. Bilingual skills. Certification in a relevant trade (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical). Travel Requirements Travel is not a regular requirement, but occasional trips for meetings or training may be necessary. Working Conditions Working conditions vary by location. You may encounter diverse weather conditions and noise levels, in addition to physically demanding tasks requiring safe lifting practices. Guidelines limit single lifts to a maximum of 75 pounds.
