The EMR (Electronic Medical Record) Integration Engineer is responsible for connecting EMR systems with other healthcare systems like Laboratory Management Systems and billing systems. They are involved in design, development and deployment of APIs, data pipelines, and integration services for real-time and batch data exchange. This individual will work with various standards like HL7 and FHIR and ensure HIPAA compliance with data security and privacy. This position works closely with project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and efficient project execution. They will assume 24-hour responsibility and accountability for troubleshooting and resolving issues and bugs related to the integrations.

Position is onsite in Irvine, CA 5+ years of experience using and configuring interface engines like Iguana, Mirth Connect, Qvera, Cloverleaf, or Rhapsody. 3+ years of hands-on experience with programming languages like Python, C++, C#, or JavaScript. Expertise of HL7 standards: Experience with HL7 V2, V3, and FHIR is highly valued. Expertise in Healthcare IT: Understanding healthcare workflows, clinical systems (EMRs, LIS, RIS, PACS), and healthcare data interoperability. Experience with specific EMR systems like Epic, ECW, Athenanet or Cerner. Hiring salary range: $118,660 - $125,000. The actual rate will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
