The New York State Office of the Attorney General (OAG) is seeking an Expert-level Systems Analyst for a 24-month, part-time engagement. This resource will primarily support Charities applications (CHAR410, CHAR500, Charities Dissolution), assist with a test automation proof-of-concept, and contribute to enhancing data-driven insights and user experience.

This part-time position requires 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Telecommuting is allowed up to 5 days per week. Candidates must pass a background check (completed within the last 6 months) and sign a confidentiality agreement.Responsibilities: Lead and conduct business requirements gathering and documentation Create test data, develop scenarios, and review application testing results Write and maintain system and process documentation Analyze and reconcile data from multiple systems to generate actionable insights Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders Support stakeholder teams in improving user experience and business workflows Document technical tasks and procedures to facilitate knowledge transfer to OAG staff Qualifications: 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, including use case development, JAD sessions, functional design, and process documentation 7 years of experience developing test scenarios, writing test scripts, and validating test data for enterprise applications, including registration systems 7 years of experience working with relational databases and creating SQL queries 6 years of experience analyzing and interpreting data using tools such as Power BI, Excel, SQL, and Python 6 years of experience in a public sector law firm environment 6 years of experience communicating and coordinating with various stakeholders Preferred Educational Attainment:
