Shermco is seeking a highly skilled and adaptable

Functional Analyst with a strong Quality Assurance background

to support business process alignment and quality initiatives across the Southwest Region. Each branch has a different business model and service mix, requiring a strategic thinker who can bridge process variation, improve operational effectiveness, and drive consistency in quality across the enterprise.

This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in ambiguity, collaborates well with cross-functional stakeholders, and has experience balancing technical quality expertise with business process analysis.

Responsibilities

Functional & Business Process Analysis Serve as a central point of contact for evaluating, documenting, and improving quality-related business processes across regional operations. Work with operations, engineering, and branch leadership to map processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose standardization or region-specific adaptations. Translate business needs into functional requirements that support scalable quality improvements. Quality Assurance & Process Improvement

Leverage quality engineering tools and methodologies (8D, DMAIC, FMEA, etc.) to support root cause analysis, process audits, and risk assessments. Coordinate across regions to implement consistent quality controls while accommodating business-specific needs. Support the development and rollout of SOPs, work instructions, and training aligned with ISO and industry standards. Supplier & Internal Quality Collaboration

Partner with regional teams and suppliers to ensure quality expectations are understood, measured, and continuously improved. Conduct supplier quality assessments and support resolution of material or service-related quality issues. Align internal teams with consistent quality KPIs and compliance practices across all regions. Cross-Functional Communication & Change Management

Facilitate ongoing communication between technical teams, business leaders, and quality personnel to ensure shared understanding of goals and challenges. Lead or participate in workshops, process improvement initiatives, and change adoption strategies. Prepare and deliver clear documentation, reports, and executive summaries to drive decision-making. Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline. 4-6 years of combined experience in quality assurance, business process analysis, or functional analyst roles. Experience working across multi-site or regionally diverse organizations is strongly preferred. Technical Expertise

Deep understanding of quality systems (ISO 9001, AS9100), root cause methodologies (8D, RCA), and process tools (FMEA, SPC). Familiarity with ERP systems, workflow tools, and quality management platforms. Proficiency in interpreting data to drive performance improvements and operational decisions. Soft Skills & Mindset

Comfortable working across ambiguous, complex environments with varying business models. Excellent communication and facilitation skills; able to work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams and senior leaders. Proactive, analytical, and collaborative - a natural connector across teams and functions. Preferred Qualifications:

ISO9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certificate. Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification. Background in electrical services, energy, or industrial field service industries. Prior experience in supplier quality, continuous improvement, or multi-site operations strategy.

Pay Range

USD $45.00 - USD $55.00 /Hr.
