CTG is seeking to fill an AWS Solutions Engineer opening for our client in Philadelphia, PA.

Duties:
Design, develop, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services using AWS
Build and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments
Automate provisioning, deployment, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure using AWS SDKs and CLI
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure seamless application deployments and integrations
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues and optimize performance
Ensure best practices for security, compliance, and cost optimization in AWS environments
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
Skills:
Proficiency with AWS SDKs and CLI for infrastructure management
Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, Go, or Node.js
In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, RDS, and VPC
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
Strong understanding of cloud security and networking principles
Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing enterprise-grade cloud solutions
Experience leading cloud migration and optimization projects
Background in DevOps or software development environments preferred
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) strongly preferred
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
