Job Overview: Search Solution Group is seeking a

Solar Project Manager

on behalf of our client, a reputable real estate development, construction, and solar installation company. This role is essential in supporting solar project execution from planning through close-out. The Solar Project Manager will assist with managing construction schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and safety compliance while maintaining a strong presence on-site and providing consistent project updates to leadership.

Key Responsibilities: Ensure all safety protocols and standards are upheld throughout the duration of each project

Support the Project Manager with key responsibilities, including:

Reviewing project scope, requirements, and budget alignment Assisting in the development and maintenance of project schedules

Procuring subcontractor and supplier packages, including rental equipment, within budget

Maintaining a regular on-site presence to monitor progress and address site needs

Coordinating and overseeing subcontractor work

Managing and organizing all necessary permits, licenses, and documentation

Delivering consistent updates to leadership on safety, timeline, and budget status

Leading or contributing to project close-out activities and O&M manual compilation

Attend and present in weekly project meetings, documenting progress and updates

Requirements include:

Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field

Experience: 2-4 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or

6-10 years of experience with an Associate's degree in construction project management

Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with construction project management software (Procore preferred)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized with excellent time management abilities

Able to work well under pressure and meet firm deadlines

Certifications: OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred

Knowledge: Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices

Understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination

Experience with project permitting and licensing

Collaboration: Works well with internal teams, subcontractors, and leadership

Attention to Detail: Manages documentation and compliance with precision

Communication: Articulates project updates clearly to team members and stakeholders
