Summary As a Lead Software Engineer (Java/Python) and drive large-scale digital transformation. You will architect and modernize enterprise applications, lead cloud-native initiatives across AWS, Azure, and GCP, and integrate AI-driven tools into mission-critical systems. This role demands strong experience in Java/Python, SQL, Microservices, observability, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities
Architect and develop scalable, enterprise-grade applications using Java and/or Python. Responsible for the entire SDLC including Building, developing, Testing and supporting code. Work within cloud-native architectures across AWS, Azure, or GCP. Oversee modernization of legacy applications using Java, Python, C++, and React. Develop and optimize SQL queries on PostgreSQL databases. Drive development of microservices, containerization (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines. Implement observability with tools like Splunk, Grafana, and Dynatrace. Champion best practices in security, automation, and resilience engineering. Guide cross-functional Agile teams and mentor top-tier engineering talent. Communicate effectively with executives and stakeholders across business and tech. Integrate AI tooling and Copilot-like solutions to accelerate enterprise development.
Required Qualifications 10-15+ years in software engineering or technical leadership. Deep expertise in:
o Java, Python, or C++ o Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) o Cloud & Virtualization: AWS, Azure, GCP, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes o Microservices & SQL o Leading large-scale, high-impact technical teams. o Modernizing legacy systems and building cloud-native apps. o Observability, containerization (Kubernetes), and SRE practices. o Excellent communication and mentoring skills
Preferred Qualifications AI/Cloud certifications are a strong plus. Experience working in a regulated environment would preferable (Banking, Financial or Insurance companies and/or Government etc)
