Senior Manager, BI & Demand Planning

is a strategically minded, analytically sharp go-getter, who will lead forecasting, demand signal alignment, and trade promotion planning across Momofuku’s fast-scaling CPG business.

This individual will serve as the internal owner of the demand signal, working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Operations to deliver forecasting accuracy, commercial insight, and promotional alignment. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in growing a fast-growing CPG brand. This person should have experience managing with broker/distributor partners. The ideal candidate should be a proactive self-starter who can flex up and can easily adjust between strategy and execution. This person should maintain a growth mindset and look for ways to seek new opportunities to win.

Salary Description:

$145,000 - $165,000 annually + bonus + company stock options

Responsibilities:

FORECASTING & DEMAND PLANNING

Own and manage the total demand forecast across all channels. Drive monthly forecast alignment (MFR) with Sales, Finance, and Operations. Track forecast accuracy (MAPE, bias) and recommend continuous improvements. TRADE PROMOTION PLANNING

Partner with Finance and Sales to build TPM planning and tracking capabilities. Drive cross functional transparency and alignment of customer and channel plan. Ensure Sales input and accountability into forecast adjustments driven by promo activity. BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE & REPORTING

Build and manage dashboards and tools that track demand, sell-through, and market signals. Provide executive-ready reporting and scenario modeling in partnership with Finance. COMMERCIAL PARTNERSHIP & ENABLEMENT

Act as a key commercial planning partner, contributing insights to support customer storytelling and pitch strategy. Strong collaboration with the Sales team to write effective annual operating plans that deliver sales, investment and profit goals internally; while delivering on external account goals along with necessary tracking and KPIs. SYSTEMS & PROCESS

Optimize forecasting workflows and TPM tools as we scale. Evaluate forecasting platforms and coordinate with tech/data partners as needed. An integral piece of the demand team and develop systems for continuous improvement, so the team can seize opportunities. Required Qualifications:

7–10 years in forecasting, demand planning, sales finance, or TPM in a CPG/F&B environment. Advanced Excel and BI reporting skills; experience with SPINS/NielsenIQ. Experience leading planning meetings (S&OP, MFR) and influencing across functions. Strong communicator with the ability to translate data into strategy. Track record of translating strategy into actionable, measurable goals. Knowledge of trade promotions and levers for each account. Specifically possess the ability to make recommendations and suggestions to the Sales team based on data and historical lift knowledge. Maintain a “never take no for an answer” attitude. Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with ML/AI-enabled forecasting platforms (used but not built). TPM experience or system management. Background in both startup and scaled CPG operations. 7+ years of experience managing natural/specialty key accounts for a fast-growing CPG brand. Experience developing growth objectives of sales plans (including new Brand/SKU launches), including the allocation of targets by brand, geography, and channel to ensure delivery of sales targets.
