The OmniPro team within Reservations and Customer Care is seeking a Product Manager to serve as the voice of the customer, both internal and external - leveraging their feedback to prioritize, create, and implement new products and features driving personalized experiences and allowing seamless servicing of customers through all inbound channels. Success in this role will be measured across multiple dimensions including specialist satisfaction, and improved efficiencies within the technology ecosystem. This role will also advocate for appropriate change management strategies to be deployed as needed to ensure that specialists are adequately prepared for upcoming changes, and that there is minimal effort/impact for specialists to complete critical tasks.

Overview & key responsibilities:

Lead one or more strategic initiatives, including the development of strategies, detailed plans and measurable outcomes, process mapping,?cross-divisional coordination,?and any analysis or research needed to define strategy and quantify results.??Successful candidates will have a strong instinct for customer and employee experience, be creative thinkers, and possess the ability to be proactive and anticipate change.

Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive):

Responsible for end-to-end product management duties including understanding the business problem, identifying specialist needs, developing optimal solutions, and leading business readiness / change management processes

Translate and communicate business needs for both technical and non-technical audiences and stakeholders

Translate product development goals into requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria

Utilize agile best practices when partnering with Information Technology teams to organize and prioritize the sprint backlog, balancing requirements of business stakeholders

Attend regular ceremonies with the Information Technology team including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, sprint review/demos, and retrospectives

Identify and communicate opportunities to increase revenue, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction and operational efficiency

Provide regular status reports to key stakeholders, sponsors, project managers, and others involved in the project

Responsible for business ownership of ongoing product maintenance and related incident tracking and troubleshooting

Maintains relationships with vendors for product services, issues, and enhancements.

Mentor team members on product management, ownership and agile best pratices

Partner with key owners within Reservations and cross divisionally, including Information Technology, Reservations Strategy, and Human Resources, to identify best practices, evaluate new solutions and collaborate on joint investment opportunities

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into a logical and actionable story

Proficiency in written and oral communications and able to produce concise, relevant, strategic documents and executive presentations and ability to influence outcomes and stakeholders

Must demonstrate initiative and self-direct work with ability to manage multiple priorities

4-6 years relevant work experience

Willingness to become the subject matter expert for your product and take ownership for developing and maturing the platform and its performance

Must be performing satisfactorily in present position

Proven experience as a Product Owner (or similar role), in a dynamic agile environment

Strong understanding of agile practices and principles

Previous experience working as a consultant on multiple projects

Previous experience working as a Business Analyst

Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data

Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles

Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency

Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

Agile Product Management training and experience preferred

Ability to identify specialist pain points and/or needs and develop product requirements to meet them

Ability to effectively collaborate with others responsible for deliverables, including stakeholders from other departments

Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and other MS applications highly preferred

Experience with internal and external facing channels

Experience with digital.ai (Agility/VersionOne) or Jira

A background in Aviation

Reservations & Care experience/ticketing

Proficiency in querying and analyzing large datasets to derive insights

Candidates for this position may have completion of a Bachelor's degree in business, technology, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
