POSITION PURPOSE: The Network Analyst is responsible for supporting NOC leadership and technicians while leveraging Network Element Management Systems as well as Operational Support Systems to identify circuits affected by network maintenances and outages. They will provide reports on network operational performance and analyze network data in relation to Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets. Additionally, they will handle data entry and provisioning of circuit information within network monitoring systems.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
College degree or equivalent in IT or Technical related field Prior experience in the Telecommunications field, preferred Network Operations OSS and EMS/NMS support and experience, preferred SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Proficient in Microsoft 365 with emphasis on Excel Prior experience with manipulating, reporting, and analyzing data. Experience formatting data for easy analysis (spreadsheets, charts, pivot-tables, etc.) Proficient in automating the creation of data analysis reports and notifications, including automated spreadsheet updates and email distribution list notifications. Demonstrated analytical ability, judgment, and problem-solving skill Strong attention to detail Ability to quickly pivot between tasks as needed Understanding of data transfer techniques between systems (REST APIs, XML, SQL queries, file import/export, etc.), preferred Experience reading and interpreting network drawings and diagrams, preferred
