in Boston that is looking for a
Full-Stack Engineer
to join their technology team. This role will focus on building modern web applications and tools that support the firm's investment and quantitative teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain full-stack applications using
React
on the front end and
Python
on the back end. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and quantitative teams to build intuitive, high-performance applications. Optimize, test, and debug web-based tools and services for scalability and reliability. Translate business requirements into technical solutions, particularly in the finance/quantitative domain. Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for front-end and back-end development. Requirements:
Local to Boston
(on-site required). Strong experience in React (hooks, components, state management)
and
Python (APIs, frameworks like Flask or Django) . Experience with REST APIs, data pipelines, or microservices is a plus. Familiarity with
financial services or quantitative tools
is highly preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
