Summary Hiring all shifts!

Initial week will be first shift for training for all new hires(6am-2pm).

The Finishing Packer/inspector/feeder is responsible for maintaining optimum production output and acceptable quality standards through the operation of product packing. They are responsible for feeding cartons into the machine,inspecting finished cartons for defects and glueing issues. They are also responsible for packing the cartons into cases,

Responsibilities

Keep a Safe/Clean work environment

Collect 25-50-75 cartons at a time from the conveyor belt, stack them, square the stack to make sure the glue machine folded all of them uniformly

Inspect cartons to ensure that glue adheared to the product correctly.

Do quality check in timely manner

Check packing specs for proper cases and count

Prepare cases for job

Check that cases are made square

Fills approximate 50-150 cases each hour.

Provide breaks for the Machine Operator - rotate to the Feeder part of the job wherein they lift stacks of flat cartons from a pallet on the floor behind them, either putting the cartons directly into the feed tray or stack them onto a side table to inspect before feeding.

Locate and load proper stock in preparation for operation

Maintain and performs all previously acquired area skills

Performs other duties as assigned

Provides support to meet department and company objectives

Follow all safety rules and regulations

Adhear to Standards setforth by management

Practice Forestry Chain of Custody (COC)

Shifts can be 8-12 hours

Shift preference is based on Senority

Attendance policy is strongly enforced and heavily looked at during probationary period for continued employment.

This position comes with mandatory Medical,Dental and vision after 40 days with the company.

Employment has a 40 day probationary period that can be extended if necessary.

Vacation applies after 1 year with the company.

6 months of perfect attendance qualifies for a non-paid day off.

We are a Union Plant.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Must possess a positive attitude.

Ability to lift and/or move up to Forty (40) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.

Ability to stand for 8 to 12 hours

Physical Demands consist of standing, walking, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, grasping,and stooping.

Must pass background test and drug screening
