Job Requirement: Security Support ​ CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT AWARD

Position Title: Information Security Analyst (Journeyman)

Location: HQ Space Operations Command (SpOC), Peterson Space Force Base, CO

Key Responsibilities:

Special Access Program (SAP) Security Classification Guides (SCG): ​

Develop, review, and update Security Classification Guides (SCGs) for current and future SAP mission systems. ​

Analyze and evaluate SCGs based on current threats and approved Critical Program Information (CPI). ​

Provide recommendations for updates and changes to SCGs using the Air Force Office of Special Investigation (AFOSI)/Program Security Office (PSO) SCG template. ​

Security Classification Concerns: ​

§ Review and provide comments on security classification concerns related to SAP mission areas and Programs of Record (PoR). ​

§ Recommend changes to address discrepancies and ensure compliance with security policies. ​

Compliance and Documentation: ​

§ Ensure adherence to DoD directives, manuals, and policies related to SAP security, including DoDD 5205.07 and DoDM 5200.01. ​

§ Maintain accountability records for classified material, including transfer and destruction documentation. ​

Collaboration and Coordination: ​

§ Work closely with Program Security Officers (PSOs), government stakeholders, and other contractors to ensure proper implementation of security measures.

§ Support the development and implementation of security policies and procedures for SAP systems. ​

Qualifications: ​ Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)

Education: May possess a bachelor’s degree in security management, Program Management, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.

Experience:

Minimum 3-10 years of experience in security management, SAP security, or classified program support within a government or military environment. ​

Familiarity with DoD security policies, including DoDD 5205.07 and DoDM 5200.01, is preferred. ​

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and security management tools.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. ​

Certifications: Relevant certifications in security management or SAP security are a plus.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience with SAP security classification guides and program security management. ​

Knowledge of Critical Program Information (CPI) and security classification concerns. ​

Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. ​

Note: This position requires strict adherence to security protocols and may involve occasional travel to support operational requirements.
