We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Data Governance Analyst
to support the development and execution of enterprise data governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data quality, metadata management, and data cataloging, along with hands-on experience using tools such as Excel, SQL, Databricks, and Informatica (Axon, EDC, IDQ).
Candidates must be able to commute to Plano, TX, and be either U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, or hold valid authorization to work in the U.S. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the implementation and maintenance of data governance frameworks, policies, and standards Assist in driving metadata management and enterprise data cataloging initiatives Perform data quality assessments and help establish controls to ensure data accuracy and integrity Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to document data requirements and ensure alignment with governance standards Conduct data analysis and generate reports using
Excel ,
SQL , and
Databricks Work with
Informatica Axon ,
EDC , and
IDQ
to support data cataloging, lineage documentation, and quality monitoring Promote data stewardship by supporting business users in their data governance responsibilities Requirements:
Approximately
10 years
of experience in data governance, data management, or business/data analysis roles Solid understanding of data governance principles, metadata, and data quality best practices Hands-on experience with
Informatica Axon ,
Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) , and
Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) Proficiency in
Excel ,
SQL , and
Databricks
for data profiling and analysis Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams Preferred Qualifications
Experience in regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or telecommunications Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) Benefits Offered:
